Venice is not only a town floating on the water, it is more a dream, an intangible idea, a work of art, something you cannot really grasp with words, but you must experience with your own eyes. Venice is also the evidence of the immense cultural, economic and military power of the Serenissima republic, which dominated the entire Adriatic Sea, from the Dalmatian coast to Greek Island, from the coast of Puglia (link Apuliaslowtravel.com) to Cyprus and Constantinople. The elegant palaces facing the Grand Canal, where gondoliers pass by, the bridges, especially Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, the maze of narrow streets, the masked balls, the gold mosaics of St Mark’s, all of this and much more makes of Venice a unique place, which will surprise you in an unexpected way.We are going to look for the most hidden treasures.
